PEN@Hydropower
PEN@Hydropower is the EU network for a sustainable, digitalised Hydropower contributing to the Clean Energy Transition (CET) funded under EU COST, a united network of researchers, engineers, scholars, and other stakeholders to facilitate close collaboration among European research groups through projects supporting sustainable Hydropower.
CONCEPT
For them we designed the restyling of their logo.
We played with visual perception by using different shades of turquoise to simulate a moving turbine inside a drop of water.
The final effect is a graceful and elegant mark with modern and minimal lines.
The long name, the real challenge in the design of the new PEN@Hydropower logo, is inscribed in a semicircle that surrounds the lower part of the drop and “collects” it.
